What is DNSSEC?
Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC) adds a cryptographic layer of security to ensure that the DNS requests are handled by the authoritative DNS servers and haven’t been tampered with en-route.
This patches a decades-old vulnerability that allows attackers to manipulate the DNS requests to send the end-users to unwanted destinations.
